Privacy notice
This site is run by the University of Scranton Amateur Radio Club (W3USR) to schedule operating events at the club station and to manage access to it. It is for club members. Information about members is shown only to members who have signed in; the links in your own messages and your calendar feed carry a private code that stands in for signing in, so keep them to yourself.
What it holds
What you give when you join: your name, callsign, University and personal email addresses, mobile number, membership category, and for students your level and expected graduation. What you do here: sign-ups and cancellations, check-ins, signed station and computer-use agreements, your notification choices, and the messages sent to you. Your FCC license class, status, and expiry are refreshed from the FCC's public license database, which also supplies the name on your license. The site also keeps a record of who did what on it (the audit log).
Who sees what
Other members see your first name, callsign, and license class on rosters and in the member directory. Event captains see the full names and contact details of the people on their rosters. Club officers, the faculty advisor, and the people who administer this site see every profile.
Where it is
On a server the club rents in the United States, backed up nightly. Email is sent through the club's University mailbox.
Closing your account
Ask from your Profile page, or ask a club officer. Your access ends at once and your record is archived. You may also ask for it to be deleted outright rather than archived; what survives then is only what the club needs to keep its own past rosters and counts correct.
